About the association

The Royal Federal Canine Club (Club Federal Chinologic – Royal) was founded in response to the need for a real alternative in Romanian cynology.

For decades, the national cynological system operated within a framework of limited mutual recognition of the documents and activities carried out by the various organisations. This reality created difficulties for many breeders, who were forced to choose between mutually incompatible structures, without the possibility of collaboration based on mutual respect and on recognition of the work done.

The Royal Federal Canine Club proposes a different model. We have built an organisation open to collaboration, in which documents issued by national cynological associations recognised by the institutions of their country of origin are treated with respect and analysed in the spirit of international cooperation. We believe that the development of cynology cannot be based on the isolation of organisations, but on dialogue, mutual recognition and a shared interest in the purebred dog and in breeders.

It was around this vision that the Royal Federal Canine Club took shape, together with its affiliated associations and partners within the World Dog Federation, building a structure that seeks to offer breeders stability, predictability and the freedom to take part in cynological life without artificial barriers.

Our activity includes organising dog shows, training and developing judges, registering kennels, drafting regulations, supporting educational programmes and developing modern tools dedicated to members and partners.

Mission

The mission of the Royal Federal Canine Club is to create a professional framework in which all branches of cynology can collaborate openly, coherently and responsibly.

We aim to develop projects that support breeders, judges and specialists, to promote clear rules, to support cynological education and to encourage the exchange of experience between generations and across different fields of activity.

Vision

We want the Royal Federal Canine Club to be recognised, over time, as the organisation that managed to bring together specialists from all branches of cynology into a community united by a common purpose. We imagine a cynology in which collaboration matters more than competition between organisations, in which experience is shared, and standards are respected and developed through the contribution of each generation.

Values

  • Responsibility — we act with the awareness that every decision can influence future generations of dogs and the development of the cynological community.
  • Respect — respect begins by recognising the value of each dog, the experience of each specialist and the contribution of each member.
  • Competence — we encourage continuous training and grounding decisions in experience and knowledge.
  • Collaboration — we believe that lasting results emerge when specialists from different fields work together.
  • Integrity — the rules have the same value for everyone and are the foundation of trust in an organisation.

Objectives

  • Building a national cynological structure based on collaboration between organisations, not on their isolation.
  • Creating an institutional framework that gives breeders the freedom to carry out their activity without constraints caused by the lack of mutual recognition between organisations.
  • Developing a national network of affiliated associations operating to common standards and unified procedures.
  • Strengthening the relationship between Romanian cynology and the international cynological community through partnerships and institutional cooperation.
  • Developing a modern platform of services, education and resources dedicated to everyone involved in the cynological field.
