Accessibility statement

The Royal Federal Canine Club wants cfc-royal.ro to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard only or enlarge the text. We follow the international WCAG 2.1 guidelines, level AA.

What is already in place

• The site adapts to phone screens, and text can be enlarged in the browser.
• Pages use a heading hierarchy, and informative images have alternative text.
• Public forms have written labels, and error messages are stated in words.
• The element selected from the keyboard has a visible outline on any background.
• People who ask their operating system for reduced motion see no animations.

What does not yet work for everyone

• The show calendar loads through JavaScript; without JavaScript, the show pages remain available from the “Dog Shows” list, and the calendar can be downloaded as an .ics file.
• The Statute is published as a scanned image (a PDF without text), so a screen reader cannot read it. We are working on a text version.
• Some older PDF documents lack structure for screen readers.
• Colour contrast has not yet been measured on every page.
• The code-protected areas (registry office, Judges’ School, show manager) are working tools and have not yet been checked page by page with a screen reader.

Tell us what does not work

If a page or a document cannot be used, write to contact@cfc-royal.ro or call +40 741 387 026. Tell us the page and what you tried to do; we will send you the information in a form you can use and reply within 2 working days.

This statement was prepared on 17 October 2026 and is reviewed whenever the site changes.
