Internal WDF seminar on judging and dog shows

The World Dog Federation, through the International Institute of Professional Cynology (IIPC) and the Dog Show Competition Commission, organised an internal training seminar dedicated to the activities specific to cynological competitions and dog shows. The event was held online, as part of the federation’s internal programme for professional training and standardisation.

The seminar was hosted by Alexandru Paul Ciolac, Head of the Dog Show Competition Commission within the World Dog Federation, with academic coordination ensured by members of the IIPC. It addressed the structure and organisation of dog shows, the operational roles in the ring, and the best practices and standards applicable within the World Dog Federation, with the aim of harmonising the level of knowledge among participants.

The seminar marks the beginning of a structured professional training cycle dedicated to the coherent and sustainable development of dog show activities within the federation.
